"E-motion"
You go on
a date…good time, bad time, maybe fall in love…but no matter what,
everyone has a story to tell…
And
that is what the series
E-motion is all about…telling the
stories of people who have dated online. Mostly funny, sometimes
dramatic, E-motion
chronicles online dating adventures. The series will begin with
a one hour pilot, focused on two main characters that work at
E-motion,
Becky and Sam. Sam is the manager of E-motion,
and Becky is the newly hired relationship expert. Following the
pilot, episodes of 30 minutes in length will introduce new characters
and their dating stories. In each episode we will also catch up
on the latest developments in Sam and Becky’s romance, mainly through
Becky’s voiceovers and an occasional cameo appearance.
Some sample
plot lines…all based on true stories…
MAGGIE & BILL: A long drive, a short courtship
— and a church wedding

one week
together, they get married.
KATE: Single…and on the lookout
for that special man- always online
Kate is 35, good looking and single. She indulges herself in meaningless
online
relationships and rebuffs the real men in her life.

"Ruby"
A young teenager, Toby Durham,
and his parents, breed and show dogs. Toby's closest friend is his
dog ,Ruby, a champion Irish setter, who pretty much goes everywhere
Toby goes. Toby's father gets a promotion at work, and
the family moves to a new town. Toby befriends the
teenage girl who lives next door, Rachel Parker. Rachel
has epilepsy and is often subject to violent seizures. While Rachel
lives a somewhat normal life, her unpredictable seizures prevent
her from doing many normal, everyday activities, essentially making
her a shut-in. Toby also meets an elderly retired judge, Temple
Walker, while walking with Ruby in the neighborhood.
Toby and Temple become friends, as Toby helps Temple around
the house and yard doing chores.
Rachel and Toby spend a
lot of time together, and they eventually realize that
Ruby has the ability to sense Rachel's seizures before they occur.
This leads them to first research and then train Ruby as a seizure
alert dog, which allows Rachel to live a more normal life. She can
now attend school, drive a car for the first time, and even go to
a ball game. Toby meanwhile, continues to show Ruby
at dog shows and ends up poised to take Ruby all the way to the
top in the dog world. By virtue of her ranking as one of the
top five dogs in her breed, Ruby has earned the chance to compete
in the Olympics of the dog show world, Westminster.
But complicating the situation
is Toby's deal with a rich dog breeder, Madeleine Fulbright, who sold
Ruby to Toby. Madeleine has helped Toby fund Ruby's quest for the
National championship, and their agreement is that if Ruby wins
in her breed, group, or the show at Westminster, Madeleine then
has the right to show and breed Ruby. This agreement would
mean Ruby spending a great deal of time away from Toby, and
would consequently deprive Rachel of her newly found freedom.
Toby is faced with a dilemma; should he give up his dream of a national
championship, so that his friend Rachel can continue to live a normal
life?
